Congregation Lev Shalom regularly gives back to our community.  Some of our ongoing service projects have included:

Martin Luther King Day of Service – Flagstaff Family Food Bank: Members of Congregation Lev Shalom and children from the Youth and Families Education Program joined the Flagstaff Community for the Martin Luther King Day of Service.  We sorted and packed food boxes, stacked wood and helped in any other way we were asked to.  CLS has participated in a MLK Day of Service project each year.

High Holiday Food Drive: Each year, between Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot, we ask our members to clean out their pantries and donate to our annual High Holiday Food Drive.  The congregation is able to donate hundreds of pounds of food to a local food bank each year from this effort.

Interfaith efforts: Congregation Lev Shalom participates with the Northern Arizona Interfaith Council and the Shared Earth Network, organizations that actively work to better the community.
